The display features 16 functional Lionel brand model trains, more than 1,500 mini-people, 300 cars and trucks and more. The train tracks are set through a miniature mountain range and cityscape.

The 7,000-pound display was cut into 15 pieces and transported in May 2009 from Lionel's offices in Chesterfield, Mich. Volunteers at the museum undertook the $70,000 restoration.
