US technology giant Microsoft is moving to cut as much as 3pc of its global workforce, with more than 100 jobs in Ireland understood to be at risk.

There are around 4,000 people working for Microsoft in Ireland - with 2,000 of those people at Linkedin. The business and employment company recently moved to a new Dublin headquarters at Wilton Park.
