CARBONDALE -- The patients never cried, winced or showed pain on Thursday at the Patient Development Lab of Lindegren Hall on SIU's campus.

CARBONDALE -- The Southern Illinois University School of Medicine will mark its 40th anniversary, starting with an open house Wednesday afternoon on the Carbondale campus.

SIUC Police Chief Ben Newman said when officers arrived at the scene, they didn’t find any victims and there were no reports of injuries. Officers did find a shell casing near Schneider Hall.
