Lake Murray’s only remaining floating music festival, which has been drawing thousands to the Midlands area for more than a decade, will move to the shore, organizers announced Thursday.

One of Lake Murray’s two floating music festivals, Drift Jam, took its final bow this month. The other, this weekend’s Reggaetronic, says it’s charging ahead even though it nearly had to cancel.

According to a Lexington County Sheriff's Department spokesperson, a body was found floating in the lake near the dam around 9:30 a.m. on Friday. Authorities said the body has since been recovered.
