A two-acre pristine-water lagoon surrounded by white sand beaches will soon open at San Antonio's Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa. The groundbreaking for the lagoon took place in June 2024.

The latest plan calls for 1,200 apartment units, down from 1,600 in prior proposals, along with 1 million square feet of commercial space, a hotel and convention center and the lagoon.
