Graeter’s Ice Cream, the nation’s oldest family-owned craft ice cream maker, has partnered with Kentucky-based New Riff Distilling to create a decadent new flavor: Bourbon Ball Ice Cream.
It will be available at New Riff’s Gift Shop at 24 Distillery Way in Newport, starting Saturday (free samples from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.) and at all Graeter’s scoop shops starting Monday.
According to a spokesperson, there’s New Riff Single Barrel Bourbon hand picked by the team in the ice cream but it’s less than 0.5% ABV, meaning the ice cream is less than 1 proof.
