The Portland Trail Blazers are setting their sights on victory with the addition of two-time NBA champion and Olympic gold medalist Jrue Holiday.

Jrue Holiday’s second stint as a Blazer looks to be a bit longer than his first. “Obviously, I got traded here before, so it was just kind of full circle,” Holiday said with a laugh.

Though Portland is coming off a couple rebuilding seasons, Holiday made it clear he isn’t approaching this move with anything less than his full investment.

Now 35 and joining a Portland team that has missed the playoffs in four consecutive seasons, Holiday understands he might be tasked with more of a mentorship role.

Jrue Holiday spoke for the first time since getting dealt by the Celtics as he detailed how he fits with the Trail Blazers.
