NEW YORK (AP) — Two people in New Jersey were killed after their vehicle was swept up in flood waters during a storm that moved across the U.S. Northeast overnight, authorities said Tuesday.

Severe flooding in North Plainfield led to a house explosion and multiple rescues, including a driver stranded in rushing waters.

Filmed by a resident in New Jersey, this truck was seen having to plough through a large pool of water which remains from the floods that hit the state on the 14th of July.
