Roseanne alum John Goodman attended the Los Angeles premiere of Smurfs July 13 and showed off the 200 pounds he has lost since beginning his weight loss transformation in the aughts.

He was named after Jennings' childhood friend Buddy Holly, who died in a plane crash the year before, per Country Rebel. Buddy lives in Nashville, according to his Facebook.
