JASPER, Ind. — In the heart of Jasper, Indiana, the community takes immense pride in their local son, Mike Braun, who has transitioned from a successful businessman to the governor of the state.

On March 17, 2025, the Jasper County Sheriff's Office, which serves a rural county an hour south of Gary, Indiana, signed up to participate in ICE's Warrant Service Officer Model.

Gov. Mike Braun’s family home in Jasper will be getting at least $118,000 in various security improvements, paid for by the Indiana Department of Administration.
