Family-Friendly 'Horse-of-Course' Event Brings Animal Education to Boston
The Boston Parks and Recreation Department is offering a unique opportunity for residents and visitors to experience the life of their mounted park rangers today, August 3rd.
The annual event at Jamaica Pond has become a tradition between Boston Schools and environmental officials with the Department of Fish and Game, and MassWildlife for more than 20 years now.
Now is a great time to explore the historic neighborhoods of Jamaica Plain. Then following walking tours are organized by the Jamaica Plain Historical Association. Beginning at 11:00 a.m.
Jamaica Plain, MA — 2/18/2025 - A sign posted at JP Pond reads, “Please do not feed, touch, or remove birds from the park.” and provides a QR code to use to report a sick, injured or dead bird.
