Local News 1 dead after car overturned, 'engulfed in flames' on Metro East interstate ISP said the crash happened Sunday morning in St. Clair County, on the I-55 southbound exit ramp to I-64.

Construction crews will close northbound I-55 at Carondelet/River City Boulevard (Exit 202A) at 8 p.m. Friday. Two northbound lanes will reopen by 9 a.m. Saturday.
