A new Harappan site has been unearthed at Ratadiya Ri Dheri in Rajasthan's Thar, marking the first known Indus Valley settlement in the region.

The mysterious Harappan civilization is considered the third oldest in the ancient East after that of Egypt and Mesopotamia.
