U.S. Sen. Jim Banks said President Trump is nominating Adam Mildred, a deputy prosecutor in Fort Wayne, to serve as U.S. attorney for the Northern District of Indiana.

In a Wednesday evening update, the Indiana State Police said the officer has been released from the hospital and is expected to fully recover.
