The Pacers' reserve has athleticism, fearlessness and a level of defiance toward the law of gravity. In Game 3, Indiana needed all three.

The Indiana Pacers would not have won Game 1 against the Oklahoma City Thunder without the play of Obi Toppin. Toppin had 17 points and hit five threes against the Thunder. In fact, the Pacers decided to close with Toppin because of the fact that the Thunder went small.

Obi Toppin came off the bench and scored 17 points as the Indiana Pacers beat Oklahoma City, 111-110, in Game 1 of the NBA Finals.
