With a red heart symbol and multi-colored letters, the logo replaces the “Sound of Connecticut” logo from 2016 and is part of a $100,000 tourism project.

Milton Glaser created this refined version of the “I ️ NY” logo in 1976 using ink and tape. He originally designed it for a tourism campaign, but the symbol quickly captured the city’s spirit.

“From July 1, 2022 to December 1, 2023, 1,096 credentials have been issued with the disability symbol,” said Jennifer Giambi, DMV communications manager, in an email. Courtesy of DMV.
