Hyde Park business owners are hoping that city council rejects a new nearly 80-foot tall development in the neighborhood's buzzing square. They say it'll create more bad than good for the businesses.

The plan also includes a building with a height of 85 feet, exceeding the 50-foot limit in the city's land development code. However, other buildings in Hyde Park do exceed the 50-foot limit.
