A collage is a picture made of lots of little pieces of paper. Butterflies are very colourful, so we’ll need very colourful paper. We’ll also need a pencil, a glue stick and a pair of scissors.

To make a collage, you can use pieces of paper, card, or any other items you can find. Some artists make collages using photographs, like Hannah Höch did. That type of collage is called photomontage.
