Hulk Hogan’s official cause of death has been confirmed. Page Six can exclusively reveal that the pro wrestling legend died from acute myocardial infarction — commonly known as a heart attack — which is when blood flow to the heart muscle is suddenly blocked, causing tissue damage, per the Pinellas County Forensic Science Center.

One week after Hulk Hogan died at the age of 71, his medical records shared the wrestler had been privately battling a form of blood and bone cancer called chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
