Some just throw in the towel and count on hollow wall anchors to do the job. You don’t ever have to use those when building a new home or doing remodeling.

He told us he'd replaced more self-tapping metal drive anchors than any other type of hollow wall connector. In fact, he'd replaced so many of them that he had devised his own routine to do it.

Wall anchors are designed for use in solid concrete ... they have a lot of unsightly wires. With those hollow spaces between the studs, you can make one hole behind your TV and one near the baseboard.
