Troopers with the South Carolina Highway Patrol said one person was hurt and another was killed in a motorcycle crash on Sunday evening in Laurens County.

A man is in the hospital after he was hit by a car while riding a scooter Monday morning in north Phoenix.

Highway patrol said the driver of the 2005 motorcycle was taken to the hospital with injuries, however, the passenger that was hit, passed away on scene.
