Starting July 1st, it's going to cost $1 to $5 more to park at Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport, depending on how long you need to leave your car there.

That revenue will come from increasing rates, according to the Birmingham Airport Authority. Hourly parking per 24 hours will go from $24 to $26. Daily parking per 2 hours will go from $12 to $17.
