LANCASTER, Ohio — More affordable housing is coming to Fairfield County. The city of Lancaster announced a new project called "Emerald Place" that will build over 200 new apartments.

Mobile police officers responded to the Summit at Hillcrest apartments at 1601 Hillcrest Rd. around 9:06 p.m. Monday on a call of a domestic-related shooting, police said Tuesday.
