The Mattress includes layers of memory foam, latex and a cooling layer. The motor can support weight up to 450 pounds. An optional heavy-duty model supports up to 600lbs.

The HD does have a latex foam layer, which I could see some people gravitating towards, but with the extra cost and inability to work with an adjustable base, the Saatva HD is more of a niche choice.
