HARRIS COUNTY - A Flood Advisory has ended for Harris County as storms lighten up across the area. The Flood Advisory expired at l 4:45 p.m. Friday. The National Weather Service (NWS) predicted minor flooding in "low-lying and poor drainage areas."

The extent of the funding gap surprised some county officials. The vast majority of projects are still in planning and design stages.
