"Happy Gilmore 2" is officially streaming on Netflix, and the sequel comedy, 30 years in the making, is making waves online. Reportedly jam-packed with tons of cameos, the new comedy brings back Adam Sandler to one of his most iconic roles.
While Happy Gilmore 2 packed a hefty dose of nostalgia and peppered the story with cameos – all designed to take fans down the memory lane – the movie apparently got mixed reviews. While some loved the memories it brought back, others felt the sequel failed to live up to the mark.
“Happy Gilmore 2” has the official Taylor Swift stamp of approval. Swift shared a glowing review of the “Happy Gilmore” sequel to her Instagram story July 25. The “Cruel Summer” posted the movie's poster alongside a short message about the film, which included an appearance from her boyfriend, Travis Kelce.
Happy Gilmore” makes par through the strength of its sheer stupid energy and the game efforts of Sandler and his 50 or so co-stars.

“Happy Gilmore 2,” the newly released Netflix sequel to Adam Sandler’s 1996 golf comedy, is a lot like its star: A little bit flabbier, a little bit shabbier, but still undeniably funny after all these years.
Grading the film a B-, IndieWire quipped that "More often than not, it makes the shot" and commended Sandler on his comedic stylings, noting: "It is also often quite funny. Most of that humour comes care of Sandler, who slips back into Happy with something like grizzled ease."
