Southern and Jackson State Lead the Way Two of the SWAC's marquee programs-Southern University and Jackson State-are at the forefront of this year's TV slate.

Jackson State football announced kickoff times and TV channels for four 2025 games. These games against Hampton, Alabama A&M, Grambling State and Bethune-Cookman will air on HBCUGo.

Jackson State football QB Jacobian Morgan was named the preseason SWAC Offensive Player of the Year and 12 Tigers were named to the preseason teams.

Both Grambling State University and Florida A&M University are set to receive a significant amount of funding from the state.
