Why Old Bay Makes Goldfish Taste So Good Old Bay is most prominently known for being a seafood seasoning, though you can use it on pretty much anything. It was invented in Baltimore, Maryland in 1939.

Goldfish crackers is teaming up with Old Bay, a long-standing staple of McCormick's (MKC) "seasoned" brand portfolio, for a new "bold" flavor offering just in time for summer.

"The Old Bay and Goldfish teams knew they had to join forces to deliver a delicious, one-of-a-kind snacking for fans and foodies, alike," a representative for the brand said in a statement.

The Old Bay Seasoned Goldfish Crackers are just the latest variety to enter the Goldfish family which also launched the new “grown up” Mega Bites snacks earlier this year.
