SPRINGDALE -- The City Council on Tuesday unanimously voted to contribute up to $250,000 to help build the Gerald Harp Memorial Park at the city's Randal Tyson Sports Complex.

Harp was born March 21, 1940, in Springdale and died Oct. 16, 2020, in Springdale. The new treehouse park also marks Springdale Rotary Club's 100th year of service to the community and the world.
