With few places to turn to balance its 2024-25 budget, the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Board of Education will once again ask Forsyth County commissioners for help covering its deficit.

This week, Invenergy, the developer of the Olympus Solar Energy Center, presented a $2,000 donation to three Muscatine County fire departments.
