Pokemon TCG introduces Black Bolt & White Flare in Japan - packed with new features and rarities. Expansion includes Illustration Rares, BWRs, & old holo patterns for a nostalgic feel.

Both will launch July 18, 2025, and are supported by a range of products that revolve around the Unova region seen in the Black & White video games (alongside Scarlet & Violet's Indigo Disk DLC).

It involves painting a black-and-white pattern on turbines to produce a flickering effect while moving, thereby warning birds of a turbine’s existence — and hopefully reducing deaths.
