CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - A car fire forced I-380 to shut down Monday afternoon. The fire started around 12:30 pm Monday near the Wright Brothers Boulevard exit for the Eastern Iowa airport.

Surveillance footage showed a woman parking a BMW at 8:09 a.m., with smoke appearing near the car around 12:03 p.m. Airport staff are contacting owners of vehicles parked in safe areas for retrieval.
