Ekaterina Alexandrova proved that third time is certainly the charm as the Russian finally claimed Upper Austria Ladies Linz on Sunday afternoon defeating Dayana Yastremska in a thrilling final.

After runner-up showings in 2018 and 2024, Ekaterina Alexandrova won the title at the 2025 edition of the Upper Austria Ladies Linz. No. 4 seed Alexandrova squeaked past No. 5 seed Dayana Yastremska 6-2,

It’s the championship match at WTA Linz, and last year’s runner-up, Ekaterina Alexandrova, will be looking to go one step further. Still, she has to get past Dayana Yastremska, who has been impressive all week.

Two-time runner-up Ekaterina Alexandrova finally won the Upper Austria Ladies Linz on her third trip to the final by outlasting Dayana Yastremska in a three-set thriller.
