In June 2021, Cricut released two new machines, including a redesigned and upgraded version of the Explore Air 2 — which I've been using for the past year and a half — called the Explore 3 ($300).
Cricut makes two full-size smart cutting machines with different capabilities. Both the Explore 3 and Maker 3 cut materials like vinyl, cardstock, and heat-transfer vinyl.

And if that isn’t enough, you can pay for a Cricut Access membership (starting at $9.99 a month) that opens up over 200,000 images and “thousands” of projects.

For most Cricut projects, you’ll need to use an adhesive cutting mat (Cricut’s software doesn’t allow the Explore 3 to cut designs any longer than 6 inches without a mat).
