"Water Music New York: More Voices," which launched in 2017, returns this July for all-day festivals and world premiere compositions along the Erie Canal.

It doesn't look like it's almost 150 years old. On April 8, 1878, the Cincinnati Music Hall was officially dedicated, with Mayor Robert M. Moore and Ohio Governor Richard M. Bishop in attendance.

The Water Music NY: More Voices Festival is a five-day event taking place in five towns along the Erie Canal from July 2 through July 6 with an evening concert by the symphony each day.

Gov. Mike DeWine will attend and speak at Newark's Ohio & Erie Canal Bicentennial Celebration on June 28 at downtown Newark's Canal Market District.
