Popular rapper Eminem, and his label Eight Mile Style, are suing tech giant Meta for allegedly unauthorized use of 243 of his songs on the platforms Facebook, Instagram and Whatsapp

Eminem’s music company Eight Mile Style has sued Facebook’s parent company Meta for $109 million, it is reported. The 52-year-old rapper’s publishing company has filed a lawsuit over alleged copyright infringement to the tune of $109million (£80.

The ‘Lose Yourself’ rapper’s music publishing company, Eight Mile Style, accused Meta – the parent company of Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp – of copyright infringement.
