MrBeast has shared an update on his proposal to buy X, formerly Twitter, from Elon Musk. Newsweek reached out to MrBeast's representative and Musk's representative via email for comment on Friday.

"It’s not out of the question," Elon Musk said back in 2022 when MrBeast asked if he could be the next X (then Twitter) CEO.

Musk posted the same poll again last year, once more receiving an overwhelmingly positive response.
