In 1954, Tom Lee Park was named in Lee’s honor, and a monument to him was built there. In 2006, it was replaced by the current bronze statue showing Lee pulling a man into his boat.

Since construction began on 31-acre Tom Lee Park in late 2020, the park went from having only 50 trees to more than 1,000. The botany boom isn’t just for show either.
