The $35 fee for the class includes an age-and-weight-appropriate car seat, if needed. The next class will be held in the TMC Fireplace Room, 5301 E. Grant Road, from 9 to 11 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 19.

To get a free car seat, you must enroll in a safety class taught by TFD instructors. Click here to register. Classes will be taught at 300 S. Fire Central Place.

The Bloomington Fire Department and State Farm will host a car seat safety checkup event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13.
