iOS 16 now allows you to edit and unsend messages on iPhone. So now after you send a message, you can fix a spelling mistake, add in a new word or whatever you like.

Over the past week, several users, including myself, have gained the ability to edit RCS messages sent to iPhone users. After sending a message, I can long-press it to reveal a pencil icon.
