EAGLE MOUNTAIN, Utah — A second driver has been charged in a 2023 road rage incident that killed two people in Eagle Mountain. Michael Alan Landen, 42, was charged in late January with two counts of misdemeanor negligent homicide and one count of misdemeanor reckless driving.

EAGLE MOUNTAIN, Utah (KUTV) — A man driving a pickup truck has died after he hit two homes in Eagle Mountain. Sgt. Ray Ormond from Utah County Sheriff's Office said the man was driving on Pony Express Parkway Monday afternoon. The man left the roadway for an unspecified reason and hit two homes off Bald Eagle Way.

In June 2023, Peterson Drew Matheson (also of Eagle Mountain) was charged in connection to the incident. Matheson was the driver of the white Ford F-150, and the two victims who died — later identified as Rodney Michal Salm, 48, and Michaela Himmleberger, 47 — were in a 1987 Porche 911 Carrera.
