DUNCAN, S.C. (WSPA) – An officer with the Duncan Police Department who was killed in the line of duty 86 years ago will be inducted into the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial next week.

Heroes Ball will take place Saturday, July 26, and we are excited about the honorees who have been selected this year.

A 20-year-old convenience store clerk was shot and killed early Tuesday morning at the Chisholm Corner gas station near 9th and Bois D’Arc in Duncan.
