Aug. 12, 2010 -- Every preschooler's favorite bilingual heroine is turning the big 1-0 this weekend. The hour-long special, "Dora's Big Birthday Adventure," will air on Sunday, August 15.

The new live action film will follow Dora as she heads off on an adventure with her cousin Diego and best friend Boots the monkey. Dora The Explorer is slated for release in the US in August 2019.
