A large military parade showcasing American power, requested by President Donald Trump to mark the Army’s 250th anniversary, took place in Washington, D.C., featuring tanks, troops and marching bands.

Here in the Hill City, the group Indivisible Lynchburg is taking part in the national "No Kings" protest. According to the group, they are calling the protest "No Kings" because they feel President Trump is acting like a king and that whatever he says from the White House is law.
