Seriously, that sign is hardly ever illuminated. It was useful when the tunnel opened in 1958. Back then the air was so nasty that folks used to don gas masks.

I cannot figure out what the "Do Not Enter" sign is for. It is not logically placed to mean "do not enter" to go straight through to the I-270 westbound on-ramp.
