Rolls-Royce has paid tribute to its former design director, Ian Cameron, after the retired 74-year-old British executive was killed in a violent attack at his house in Bavaria on Friday night.

The current owner of Rolls-Royce is BMW, which acquired the company in 1998 and began its custodianship on January 1, 2003. Since then, BMW has been responsible for the company and its cars.
