A membership-only dining club is coming to Detroit. It’s going to offer exclusive chef-led dining events around the Detroit, making it the 18th city in its nationwide dining club.

Jake Knapp broke the Detroit Golf Club course record Friday in Round 2 with an 11-under-par 61, breaking mark of 62 set Thursday at Rocket Classic.

Jake Knapp broke the course record set in Thursday's first round by Kevin Roy and Aldrich Potgieter. They each posted a 62 but a day later, Knapp, who shot even-par 72 in Round 1, shot 11-under 61.

That still wasn’t enough to put him in the top six, entering the weekend at Detroit Golf Club. Chris Kirk (65), Philip Knowles (64) and Andrew Putnam (66) share the second-round lead at 14 under.
