It is wonderful to spend an afternoon ping-ponging all over a planet that’s 140 million miles from us, seeing gorgeous terrain while I try to answer questions about the compound dunes on Mars.

Earth is probably stabilizing to life-friendly conditions, but Mars is different. This is indicated by simulations and findings from a Mars rover.
