A motorbike rider is fighting for life after colliding with a car while driving through a set of lights at a major Gold Coast intersection.

DEL NORTE COUNTY, Calif. — An overturned semi-truck blocked Highway 101 South just south of Crescent City last night at around 10:30 p.m., after scattering debris across the roadway.

Sutter Coast Hospital's Senior Director of Operations, Ellie Popadic, said, "Right now, if someone is having a mental or behavioral crisis in Del Norte County, they are brought to the emergency room.
