In college, Sutton was a prolific receiver, catching 195 passes for 3,220 yards and 31 touchdowns. Sutton also rushed for a touchdown, and completed two passes for 75 yards.
Currently, Denver has Courtland Sutton penciled in as its No. 1 wide receiver option. A duo of McLaurin and Sutton would be very difficult for opposing defenses to slow down.
Now it will be seen if Mims, who started just two games last season, can emerge as Denver’s clear-cut No. 2 receiver behind Courtland Sutton, who caught 81 passes for 1,081 yards in 2024.
